Family Literacy Night!

Be sure to mark January 24th, 2019 on your new calendars.  To celebrate Family Literacy, the library will be hosting Family Fort Night.  From 6:30 to 7:45 p.m. on Thursday evening, we are building forts in the Library.  Bring your blankets, pillow and flashlight.  Extra building supplies will be available.  The Library will provide snacks, stories and more!  There is no fee for participating and everyone is welcome.  For more information, contact the Library at (204)345-2653.

What’s New? – DVD Entertainment

When a college piano prodigy tries to check his mother into rehab, he is taken hostage by her drug dealer and swept along on a wild adventure. Why Stop Now stars Jesse Eisenberg, Melissa Leo, Tracy Morgan in a comedy about facing mistakes of the past.

Batman Unlimited – Monster Mayhem takes place on Halloween night in Gotham City.  Batman is on the trail of The Joker, Scarecrow, Clayface, Silver Banshee and Solomon Grundy in this animated feature from D.C. Comics.

In Chasing Mavericks (based on a true story), Gerald Butler, Elizabeth Shue and Jonny Weston star on the story of 15 year old Jay Moriarty and his surfing mentor Fosty.  This movie includes some spectacular wave footage!
