Don’t miss FAMILY FORT NIGHT at the Library

To celebrate Family Literacy Day and help inspire families to learn together, the Library will host Family Fort Night from 6:30 to 7:45 p.m. on Thursday, January 24th, 2019.

Bring your blankets, pillow and flashlight as families are invited to build reading forts in the Library.  The Library will provide games, s’mores and stories around the pretend campfire!

There is no fee for participating and everyone is welcome.  For more information, contact the Library at (204)345-2653.

Family Literacy Day® is a national awareness initiative created by ABC Life Literacy Canada in 1999 and held annually in January to raise awareness of the importance of reading and engaging in other literacy-related activities as a family.
