Annual Spring Tea

Thank you to all who joined us for our Annual Spring Tea, and to our Board Members and Staff for providing the refreshments. At this time of year, we would like to welcome back all our patrons who travel during the winter months as well as welcome new residents to our community.  New residents are encouraged to stop by the Library and see what we have to offer.  Our staff will be happy to assist you in becoming a member.  Memberships are free to residents in the Town and RM of Lac du Bonnet and to residents in the RM of Alexander (Bird River area).

New Westerns

William W. Johnstone and J.A. Johnstone write the Torture of the Mountain Man.  When Smoke Jenson is summoned to a small Texas town under siege by a group of bandits, volunteers gather to take out the Mountain Man in this thrilling Johnstone Country western novel. The First Mountain Man:  Preacher’s Rage is a western novel set in the Rocky Mountains.  Preacher and his son Hawk run across a gang of ruthless trappers who have kidnapped a young woman.

New Inspirational Fiction

Secrets at Cedar Cabin is Colleen Coble’s next offering in the Lavender Tides series.  Bailey Flemming escapes to a dilapidated cabin after her mother’s murder intending to get to the truth behind the lies of her past.  She pairs with FBI agent Lance Phoenix and they race to understand the mysteries surrounding her life before the murderer tracks her down.

Jonathan Cahn gives us The Harbinger.  Is it possible that there exists an ancient mystery that holds the secret of America’s future?

The Lacemaker by Laura Frantz is an enlightening tale of the dangerous days of the revolution and the struggle for freedom.  In A Bound Heart, she takes us on an unforgettable journey of love, exile and courage in colonial America.

New Adult Fiction

The Better Sister by Alafair Burke follows Cloe and Nicky Taylor.  Sisters could not be more different.  The twists and turns are sure to keep you turning pages in this thrilling novel.
