Family Literacy Night!

Be sure to mark Thursday January 23th, 2020 on your new calendars.  To celebrate Family Literacy, the library will be hosting Family Fort Night.  Beginning at 6:15 we are planning on building a few forts in the Library.  Bring your blankets, pillow and flashlight.  Extra building supplies will be available.  The Library will provide snacks, stories and more!  There is no fee for participating and everyone is welcome.  For more information, contact the Library at (204)345-2653.

New Fiction

William W. Johnstone has a new Perley Gates western with Bullets Don’t Argue and also a Sawbones western with Never Been SeenDead at First Sight is the newest from Peter James in the Roy Grace series.  Hunt Them Down and Trained to Hunt by Simon Gervais are the newest in the Pierce Hunt series.  Every Crooked Path, Every Deadly Kiss and Every Wicked Man by Steven James are the next in The Bowers Files series.  The Grave’s a Fine and Private Place by Alan Bradley is a Flavia de Luce Mystery.  Aftershocks by Marko Kloos is the first in the Palladium series.  Godzilla King of the Monsters by Greg Keyes is the official movie novelization.

New Young Adult Titles

Flight and Divided from Mike Evans are next in the Orphans series.

New Junior Fiction

Doctor Proctor’s Fart Powder Silent (But Deadly) Night is a hilarious illustrated novel by Jo Nesbo.

New Non-Fiction

Scotland by National Geographic Traveler includes off-the-beaten path excursions, where to eat and drink, insider tips, not-to-be missed lists and authentic experiences.  At the Sharp End by Tim Cook is about Canadians fighting in the great war 1914-1916.
