CELEBRATE I LOVE TO READ MONTH!

February is “I Love to Read” month. For the entire month of February, each time you visit the Library, you can enter one of the book draws. The draw will be made at the end of the month.

SPRING INTO THE LIBRARY!

The Lac du Bonnet Regional Library invites children ages 5 to 12 to “Spring into the Library” during Spring Break. We will have children programing on March 31st, April 1st and April 2nd. The children will enjoy stories, crafts, activities, snacks, and more. Hurry in to register today as space is limited. Margie’s Greenhouse will be joining us to wrap-up the week on Thursday the 2nd.

New Fiction

Ghost Fire by Wilbur Smith is an epic story of tragedy, loss, betrayal and courage that brings the reader deep into the seething heart of the French and Indian War. Five Wives is a novel by Joan Thomas. This book is a gorgeous retelling of the historical events of Operation Auca in the rainforests of Equator. The Irish Princess by Elizabeth Chadwick is a stunning historical novel packed with action, emotion, politics and passion. The Blue Between Sky and Water by Susan Abulhawa is a great feat of imagination and storytelling. When the Music’s Over by Peter Robinson is an Inspector Banks novel that has the team investigating two highly contemporary crimes – each echoing and illuminating the other.

New Junior Fiction

Jo Nesbo has explosive new books with Doctor Proctor’s Fart Powder, The Magical Fruit and Bubble in the Bathtub.
New Kid Lit

Please, No More Nuts! by Jonathan Fenske is about a group of silly squirrels who are sick of nuts. Follow along as they figure out how to get rid of them all. Dinosaur Dinners by Lee Davis takes us back to the days of the dinosaurs. Step back in time and meet this hungry crew.

The Bond by Wayne Pacelle is about our kinship with animals and our call to defend them.
