Library Corner for the week of June 8, 2020

Summer Reading Club 2020!

Our program will be running differently this summer. You will be accessing the program Online starting July 7, 2020!
The library is asking families to sign up online at, go to “My Library”, and then click “Summer Reading Club”. You will be directed to an explanation page where you can access an online form to sign up! Please fill it in and click “submit”.
On the website you’ll have access to filling in your weekly reading logs, and submitting them!
There are 3 separate reading prizes. The Weekly Reading Log form will ask you which prize out of the 3 you would like enter when you submit your reading logs. The website will have photos of each prize. Children who participate each week, and hand in all 7 weekly reading logs by the last day of the program, will get their names entered in the grand prize!
At the beginning of each week, the website will have 2 activity ideas for you to do at home with instructions! The supplies will be available to pick up at the library each week. Please let us know the week before if you’re picking the supplies up the following week.
On our last program day of the summer, August 25, we will be drawing the prizes and posting the winners.
Benefits this year… reading logs online will allow families to submit their weekly reading logs with ease and wherever you may be!
We want to encourage reading with EVERYONE! All the children who participate will receive a new book at the end of the summer. The book prize will be available for pick up at the end of the program.
Please share your crafts and activities you create with us on our Facebook page at Lac du Bonnet Regional Library. We would love to see them!
Please check out the TD Summer Reading Club website for more activity ideas, online games, recommended reads, reading challenges, and more!
Hope you have a great summer!
