Sign Workshop “Take & Make” fundraiser

We’re hosting our first Sign Workshop Fundraiser with Wood n’ Knots! Due to Covid 19 restrictions, and uncertainty, we are adding a twist to the event this year. We are hosting a “Take & Make” event! Simply choose your sign, your stain color, and your font colors. On Thursday, December 10th you will be able to pick up your package between 6:00 – 7:00pm at the library. Virtual Pajama Night!

On Thursday, November 12th, join us for our Virtual Pajama Night on Facebook Live at 7:00pm. The video will be available to view on the website as well. We will be doing a craft, eating delicious cookies, and reading a story. Reminder, you can pick up your craft instructions and supplies this week along with your cookies. When you come to pick up your stuff, we ask that you enter your name in the attendance draw. We are drawing for a jar of yummy treats! The winner will be announced at the end of our virtual story!

New Fiction

The Spoon Stealer by Lesley Crewe is full of humour, family secrets, women’s friendship and lovable animals.

New Young Adult Fiction

The Marrow Thieves by Cherie Dimaline is a powerful and endlessly smart work of fiction about a dystopian world that is all too real and that has much to say about our own. The Walking Dead volumes 1 & 2 by Robert Kirkman are graphic novels that shows how people deal with extreme situations and how these events change them. Gotham High by Melissa De la Cruz is a fast paced graphic novel starring a young Bruce Wayne.

New Junior Fiction

Billy Stuart is an ordinary raccoon on some extraordinary adventures. There are 5 books in this series to keep our young readers entranced with all the Zintrepids. The Inquisitor’s Tale by Adam Gidwitz follows three children and their dog on an adventure-packed tale.
