Best Books of 2020!

Whether you’re looking for a new author to try, a fresh series to start, or just a good book to read, why not try one of the ‘best books of 2020’. Goodreads choice awards just announced the ‘best books of 2020’ and the Library invites you to check out some of the winners and nominees that are available here.

Nominated for best fiction, the Library has Anxious People (Fredrik Backman), American Dirt (Jeanine Cummins), My Dark Vanessa (Kate Elizabeth Russell), and coming soon to the Library, the winner of ‘best fiction book of 2020’ with over 70,000 votes, The Midnight Library (Matt Haig). Nominated for ‘best historical fiction’ you can check out The Jane Austen Society (Natalie Jenner) and The Book of Longings (Sue Monk Kidd). For ‘best mystery, thriller, and horror’ nominations see, The Sun Down Motel (Simone St. James), Troubled Blood (Robert Galbraith), and If It Bleeds (Stephen King).
