Library Corner for the week of July 5, 2021

Still Curbside…

Following the public health announcement on Wednesday June 23, 2021, the Library will remain closed to the public. Patrons can continue to access our collection through our curbside pickup service. Books can be held online through Destiny Discover, by email, or over the phone. Appointments for pick up can be made over the phone. Our curbside hours are Tuesday to Friday 10:30 am – 5:00 pm and Saturday 10:30 am – 2:30 pm.

All returns MUST be dropped in the book chute on the east side of the Library by their due date to avoid incurring fines. Checkout policies remains as nine items per patron with a three-week loan period, except for movies and magazines which are a one-week loan period. Please use your account, call or email to request renewals.

The Library would like to congratulate the graduates of 2021! You should all be very proud of yourselves for what you have accomplished. The Library wishes you the best of luck in your futures. Go out and seize the world!

Summer Reading Club

The Summer Reading Club kicks off in one week! If you haven’t already, make sure to register your kids today! There are only 20 spots and they are filling up fast!

Starting July 6th, registered kids will be able to pick up their Play Packs from the Library. These Play Packs will be filled with new activities, crafts, and games every week! Every Thursday morning at 10:30 am starting July 8th, join us on Zoom for a Virtual Story Session where we will play games and read books. New to Our Collection…

New to Adult Fiction: The President’s Daughter (Bill Clinton and James Patterson) Follows Matthew Keating a former Navy SEAL and a former President of the United States.
