Library Corner for the week for March 16, 2020

Closures and Information
The Lac du Bonnet Library is taking precautionary measures to keep our staff & community
members safe. Due to the COVID 19 pandemic the library has decided to close for 3 weeks starting the
week of March 23, 2020 with a tentative opening date of April 14, 2020.
During this time, library staff will be able to communicate with patrons via phone and email. Online
access will still be available.
All items checked out will have a due date of April 14th. Any fines incurred during closing will be
waived. Checkout limits have been extended beyond our default of 9 times.
New Fiction
Broken Ice by Matt Goldman is an insightful and compelling novel that follows private detective Nils
Shapiro as he tries to discover information about a missing teenager in a small quiet town. The Camera
Never Lies by David Rawlings is a thought-provoking look at the real price that secrets extract. The
Number of Love by Roseanna M. White is a historical novel set in London in 1917. Best Kept Secret is
a touching and hopeful story by Amy Hatvany. Strands of Truth by Colleen Coble is a romantic
suspense that will leave you breathless. Opening Moves is the newest in The Bower Files series from
Steven James.
New Junior Fiction
Shifting Shadows is the newest in the Bravelands Shadows by Erin Hunter is wild and wonderful.
Captain Underpants and the Terrifying Return of Tippy Tinkletrousers by Dav Pilkey is the next in this
series that features George and Harold time-travelling back to kindergarten.
New DVD Entertainment
Game of Thrones season 8 has arrived in the Library. Be sure to check out this one, it is sure to be
popular!
