Library Corner for the week of March 8

We’re open with new hours!

Just a reminder to everyone that the Library is open to the public now.  We have implemented new permanent hours at the Library.  Tuesday & Thursday 10:30 – 7:00, Wednesday & Friday 10:30 – 5:00, and Saturdays remain the same at 10:30 – 2:30.  We will still be offering curbside for those who wish, and holds can be placed online with your membership, by email mldb@mymts.net, or give us a call at 204-345-2653.

All things February!

The winner of our “I Love to Read” month Tim Horton gift card was Frank Molgat.  Congrats Frank!  We were so happy to see our patrons again in the Library, we wished we had a gift certificate for all of you.  Our collaboration with the grades 3 – 4 classes at Centennial was so exciting.  The book reviews and Q & A’s with Larissa showed us how much the children at Centennial truly love to read.  They had Larissa scrambling to answer questions like, do you have ukulele books, Lego books, and what’s your favorite book? Colter read to the children online.  They were excited to have virtual visitors to their classrooms.
