Annual Fall Supper

The Lac du Bonnet Regional Library’s Annual Fall Supper will be held on Saturday, September 14th at the Legion Hall. Tickets are now available at the Library and Ingham Pharmacy. The wish lists for groceries and volunteers are posted in the library. Please get your tickets early as the evening usually sells-out.

New Kid Lit

When We Were Alone by David A. Robertson and Julie Flett follows a young girl as she discovers her grandmother’s story of her experiences in a residential school.  Going to the Zoo by Tom Paxton is a colorful book about a family taking a trip to the zoo.  Jeremy’s Decision by Ardyth Brott is about a bright young man and his talented father.  Grand by Marla Stewart Konrad is a book about grandparents and the fun ways they fill our days.  You Smell With Your Nose by Melvin and Gilda Berger tells us how we remember smells better than sights or sounds.  Where Do You Sleep Little One by Patricia Hooper is an amazing book about animals finding places to rest.

New Junior Fiction

Star Wars – Jedi Academy The Phantom Bully by Jeffrey Brown follows young Jedi-in-Training Roan Novaches as he navigates the Jedi Academy.
